Why do some organic mandarins have seeds?
Seeds appear because of a natural process called cross-pollination. Bees and other pollinators carry pollen from one citrus variety to another while visiting the flowers. This is especially common in hybrid varieties such as Clemenvilla, Ortanique, and other late mandarins.

Why do some mandarins have small black spots or marks on the skin?
These small spots or marks are caused by natural factors such as morning dew, humidity, rain, and natural microorganisms from the orchard. They are only on the skin and have no effect on the inside of the fruit.
In conventional agriculture, these marks are prevented by using fungicides and chemical treatments to keep the skin looking perfect. In organic farming, the skin is not sterilized, which keeps the fruit alive, natural and authentic.
Are mandarins with spots still good inside?
