The first kiwis are hard, to ripen them, put them in a paper bag, together with other ripe fruits, such as bananas, pears or apples. put the fruits at room temperature (from +20°C), they will be ready in a few days. Ripe fruit emits ethylene, a natural gas that makes the other fruits in the bag ripen faster.
