50% Iberian Cebo Ham Shoulder
Sliced 50% Iberian Cebo Ham Shoulder comes from pigs fed exclusively on cereals and legumes, grass and other natural resources from the fields of Salamanca. Being raised in freedom, their muscles develop better, improving the quality of the product. The pieces have a curing time of 24 to 30 months in natural drying rooms, with a completely artisanal production process. The cold and dry winters together with the mild summer temperatures of our town, make these pieces acquire an aroma and flavour that is unique in the world.
It is a product with a high content of oleic acid, which makes it the most “heart-healthy” of all animal fats, promoting an increase in the rate of beneficial cholesterol (HDL) and reducing the rate of harmful cholesterol (LDL). In addition to this beneficial effect on cholesterol, Iberian ham provides proteins, vitamins B1, B6, B12 and folic acid, which are very beneficial for the nervous system. It is also rich in vitamin E (a powerful antioxidant) and minerals such as copper (essential for bones and cartilage), calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus and selenium.
It is cut in our own facilities, we vacuum pack it with the highest quality materials, in our protected atmosphere room and with absolute speed, thus ensuring that the product does not suffer any alteration in its organoleptic characteristics and flavour.
